Superman actress Margot Kidder's death ruled a suicide
The death of actress Margot Kidder, best known for playing Lois Lane in the Superman films in the 1970s and 1980s, has been ruled a suicide. Kidder, 69, was found dead by a friend in her home in Montana on May 13. Her manager said at the time she had died peacefully in her sleep. But a coroner ruled on Wednesday that the actress died as a result of a “self-inflicted drug and alcohol overdose".
